Low Rates Now, Low Rates Tomorrow, Low Rates Forever

+  Intro: Investors will be turning their attention this week to Fed speeches after last week’s disappointing jobs report. Additionally on the economic calendar Consumer Confidence, ISM Index and Construction Spending are scheduled to report

+  FED: During the week, multiple FED Presidents will be making speeches. Traders will be listening for additional comments about the potential timing of a Fed rate hike

+  FOMC Minutes: On Thursday, (10/8) the latest FOMC Minutes are released. Investors will be looking closely at the language to see what may have changed from the previous FOMC minutes

+  Syria: Last week, Russia started bombing sites in Syria, escalating the conflict and sending the price of oil up. Traders will be watching the latest developments out of Syria and its impact on oil  

+  China: China has been closed for the past week for National Holidays. On Wednesday (10/7) Chinese markets will reopen. We can expect to see some volatile swings after multiple economic reports have come out over the period.
